What Is Korn’s song A.D.I.D.A.S. About?

Korn‘s song “A.D.I.D.A.S.” is named as an acronym that stands for “All Day I Dream About Sex”. Some say the song is a commentary on the band’s frustration with people who use them for their fame and fortune, rather than genuinely caring about them as individuals. Assumably the lyrics express the idea that these people only want to be around them because of the status and perks that come with being associated with a successful band. They say the song also reflects on the theme of fame and fortune and how it can be both a blessing and a curse.

I think that is bullshit though. And here’s why: Korn seems to always include a song about sex on every album. This track just happened to include a very catchy and clever name and acronym from the clothes and shoes they enjoyed wearing.

Look, I’m not saying the groove doesn’t have lyrics and a theme that support the opinions first mentioned above, but if you listen to the song, and better yet, read the lyrics while doing so, to me it’s clear that Jonathan Davis was/is a horny individual. Then again, maybe I’m too shallow to get what everyone else is sayin’…

Below is the music video for the song. Watch it and make up your own mind:
