Spoon, the band, has been around almost as long as the eating utensil, almost… The group first released material back in 1994 with the EP Nefarious. And counting their new work, just released today, the rockers now have ten LP releases under their belt too.
The new album, their tenth, is titled Lucifer On The Sofa and released today, February 11th, 2022. Spoon released the singles “The Hardest Cut” and “Wild” a few months back, and “My Babe” last week in support, but we can’t wait to dig in and listen to the new songs we haven’t heard just yet. We play Spoon on full rotation on The Retro, including their mega-smash song “Do I Have To Talk You Into It”. But you can bet if their new stuff is as popular as some of their older releases, you will hear more Spoon on the air. We can’t help it- we like good music!
