When Alice In Chains released Dirt on September 29th in 1992, no one knew how influential the CD would be. But AIC’s second album became a classic with amazing tracks and a defining grunge sound. And three decades later, the work continues to be a shining example of the 1890’s rock movement. The band was led by Jerry Cantrell and the late Layne Staley. If you’re not familiar with the CD or you need a refresher of all the great grungey, growling riffs on Dirt I included the songs via video to listen to now.
