The Strokes are a band from New York City and assembled in 1998. They’ve released six studio albums and one EP that was released in 2001 prior to the band being signed to a major record label. The Strokes career and critical acclaim waned during the 2010s but recorded their last album The New Abnormal with producer Rick Rubin. The New Abnormal won the GRAMMY for Best Rock Album in 2021.
