Green Day

Green Day is a early 90’s punk band from the San Francisco Bay Area. Most would agree that Green Day started as a punk band, but have evolved into a more mainstream, pop/punk band over the last couple of decades. Green Day has a long history of album releases, shows and successes. The name “Green Day” is a reference to the marijuana culture.

The band’s most notable albums are Dookie, American Idiot, Insomniac and nimrod, respectively. Some of Green Day’s biggest hits are “Longview”, “She”, “Brain Stew” and “Jesus Of Suburbia”.
