The Retro artists are at the core of what we do. We love and play songs and albums from bands and artists from grunge, including but not limited to Nirvana, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots and Mudhoney. We also play artists from the 90’s and 2000’s including nu-metal rock bands like Korn and System Of A Down.
Modern and indie rock bands also round out the alternative side of The Retro. Bands from this genre include Beck, Cage The Elephant and Arctic Monkeys. Another staple of The Retro Artists is garage and blues rock with artists like Jack White and The White Stripes, The Strokes and The Black Keys. The Retro also features artists in genres of weed rock, punk rock, metal, industrial rock, and more! If it rocks, we play it!
